The truck was found overturned at a short distance from the spot in Pilibhit.
In Pilibhit, a tractor driver died in a road accident at Mandara turn of Bareilly road. Angry villagers blocked the spot over the incident. The police opened the jam after persuading the villagers.
Had left home after loading sugarcane in the morning
Pramod Gangwar (25), son of Lal Bahadur Gangwar resident of Mohammadpur Bhaja village of Kotwali area of the district, was going to Barkheda with a tractor trolley loaded with sugarcane in the morning. On the way, a speeding truck coming from behind collided at the Mandara turn of Bisalpur road. Due to which the tractor trolley overturned in the ditch situated on the side of the road. Pramod died on the spot after being hit by a tractor.
Villagers who went out for a walk in the morning saw the tractor
Around 6 in the morning when some people of the village came for a walk there. Then he saw the tractor trolley laden with sugarcane overturned. The villagers recognized that the tractor belonged to Pramod. On the information of the villagers, Pramod’s family members and many people of the village came to the spot. By the time they got Pramod out, he was already dead. Enraged, the villagers blocked the road.
Police seized the truck
On receiving the information, the Kotwali police took information about the whole matter from the villagers. After that the police took possession of the overturned truck at Hetmangala turn at some distance. Villagers and police believe that the tractor trolley overturned due to the collision of this truck. Police said that on the basis of the number of the truck, its driver would be traced. A report will be filed against him. After this the villagers ended the chakka jam. Police has sent the body for post-mortem.
